The reel saw is a reasonable alternative to the rewinder. With minimum losses concerning the width due to sawing the outer diameter stays the same. We are able to cut reels up to 3.600 mm width and 1.500 mm outer diameter maximum. Big reels can be cut easily into smaller reels or damages (e.g. elephant toe; squeezed core; etc) can be sorted out.
